Art of Seeing in the Field Workshops

Art is everywhere… waiting to be discovered.
These workshops are instructional Art Walks.
Train your eye to see more. Learn to use the camera as your tool. Practice combining both your vision and your tools to develop your artistic eye.
Alongside Danielle, learn how to approach a familiar locale or a new environment. Where to look... what to see... how to enhance each outing while unlocking your creativity.
These workshops are a combination of photography outings and hands-on instructional workshops in which we’ll work together to discover all our environment has to offer. While exploring different perspectives, design elements, and creative use of light, we will see new ways of making impactful images.
It is easy to make a great photo in a great scenic location, but it takes a good eye to create something compelling in one’s backyard. Enjoy local sites in a pressure-free environment as we will take the time to realize the potential of each shoot. Training your eye to see, you’ll get the very most from this and all future photographic journeys.

Bethlehem, PA
Saturday, March 5th - 2-5pm
Cost - $60
A historical abandoned beauty to explore just across the border in PA. Built back in the 1800s, steel produced by Bethlehem Steel was used in the construction of some of America’s greatest landmarks, including the Golden Gate Bridge and the Chrysler Building. This photoshoot will be about texture, patterns, and design. The Stacks are accessible ONLY by The Hoover Mason Trestle elevated walkway. Though the accessibility is limited to the exterior, it challenges us as photographers to discover the images. There are also opportunities to explore the exteriors of the surrounding abandoned structures within the complex.
